A mindful journey into understanding focus, imagination, and the power of attention.
Join me (and a few of my special helpers) as we read Puck's story and learn mindful tools to move through boredom and distraction.

Lesson 1: The Big Idea Brain
📘 In Puck’s story:
We learn that Puck has a lot of energy and big imaginative ideas that he shares with The Enchanted Forest.
🧚 Inside this module:
• Kids learn it's totally normal to feel bored sometimes
• Kids learn the power of imagination/Big Idea Brains.
• Kids explore how we can use imagination to create something new from everyday household items.
🍄 What you’ll need:
• pencil and paper
• 10 household items (we use a balloon, candle, sunglasses, bow, bell, empty water bottle, empty Target bag, blue marker, hand held mirror, fork)

Lesson 2: Too Many Ideas at Once
📘 In Puck’s story:
We notice that Puck has a hard time slowing down. His ideas come quickly and his body often feels wiggly! When it comes time to clean his messy room, Puck seems to struggle.
🧚 Inside this module:
• Kids learn it's totally normal to feel overwhelmed sometimes.
• Kids learn a mindfulness tool call 'The Wheel of Focus.'
• Kids practice slowing down and noticing their senses, images, feelings, and thoughts (adapted from the SIFT activity in 'The Whole Brain Child').
🍄 What you’ll need:
• Printable 'Wheel of Focus' (click image for Free PDF)
• Optional Breathing Balls for each child
• Optional glitter tube or snow globe to demonstrate how overwhelm feels in the body
